KOKEDAMA: Craft Your Japanese Hanging Planter
Calm, tactile and beautifully sculptural, the experience encourages people to slow down and work with natural materials. Each guest leaves with a handmade Kokedama that can be displayed in a dish or suspended as a hanging planter, together with guidance on how to water and care for it at home.
... guests will experience:
- Discover the Japanese art of Kokedama and its distinctive planting technique
- Explore the plants and natural materials used to create it
- Prepare and shape the soil around their chosen plant
- Wrap the structure in moss and bind it carefully with string
- Finish their Kokedama and learn how to display and care for it
The format can be adapted for a seated workshop, a relaxed drop-in painting station or a larger guest activation.
... belong to your brand
We can develop the experience around your audience, campaign, visual identity or sustainability story. From the choice of plants, moss and binding materials to the colours, display, packaging, styling and care guidance, each element can become part of one connected experience.
Depending on your objectives, the Custom Kokedama Experience could become:
- A living interpretation of growth, balance or connection
- An interactive experience for a property, interiors, garden or lifestyle campaign
- A sculptural plant display inspired by a product or brand aesthetic
- A personalised desk or home gift that continues beyond the event
- A branded planting station for guests to visit throughout an activation
Correll Club can support the complete journey, including concept development, sourcing, guest flow, branded materials, professional facilitation and event-day delivery.
Every activation begins with a conversation about what you want your audience to experience, remember and do next.
... bring people together through making
The Custom Kokedama Experience can also be booked for teams, celebrations, membership communities and private groups.
We can bring the experience to your office or chosen venue, or work alongside a venue you have already selected. Materials, equipment, set-up and facilitation are taken care of, leaving your group free to experiment with colour, share inspiration and enjoy a calm, creative moment together.
... continued with friends at home
With the BABIDA Carafe & Create edition brings the experience to you. Purchase the BABIDA kit and receive the ingredients and guidance needed to create your natural deodorant, together with access to a private on-demand workshop.
